Pastel drawing, partly heightened with white, view of a suburb, signed and dated (19)60 lower right, behind linen passe-partout and glass in frame (slightly damaged), signs of age (among other things browned), sheet section approx. 26 x 39.5 cm, with frame approx. 41 x 53.5 cm, son of the porcelain painter Louis Huth, from 1892 apprenticeship as a porcelain painter in Volkstedt, from 1894 training as a glass painter in the Giant Mountains, 1895-97 studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Dresden, from 1903 worked in his father’s manufactory, 1911-18 freelance porcelain painter, 1922-61 active in Weimar, honorary citizen of his hometown Pößneck
