Pen and ink drawing, caricature portrait, inscribed on the reverse: Josefine Baker, monogrammed lower right, behind passe-partout and glass in the frame (slightly rubbed), minor signs of age (among other things min. creased, min. browned), sheet section approx. 23 x 18 cm, with Frame approx. 46 x 37 cm, attended Knirr's school in Heinrich Munich in 1899, then studied at Franz von Stuck's academy, first drafts appeared in the art journal Jugend and in Simplicissimus, produced poster drafts for the Deutsches Theater in Munich and stage decorations and costumes, 1908/09 acquaintance with Picasso in Paris
