Bronze, brown patina, bust of the Chemnitz artist Alfred Kunze (1866 - 1943), unsigned, mounted on a stone base, H approx. 37 cm, with base approx. 50 cm, this bronze comes from the estate of the sitter's family, it was given on loan made available to the Chemnitz art collections, wrongly stored there as a work by Emil Mund, when it was returned this work was attributed to the Chemnitz artist Heinrich Brenner, Brenner studied at the academies in Leipzig and Dresden from 1899, resident in Chemnitz from 1919, member of the artist group Chemnitz
