Jena city and maker's mark on the bottom (probably C. Hering), cylindrical wall with a view of the city of Erfurt on a curved round base, curved ribbon handle, profiled hinged lid monogrammed CFB and dated 1810, scepter-shaped thumb rest, signs of age and wear, probably first half of the 19th century.
