Aquatint etching in brown, marked lower left: "gn" monogrammed in lead right under the print, dated "29.3.80" in the print and marked, sheet for the cycle "Nigromontanus" for Ernst Jürgen, sheet approx. 68 x 51.5 cm, from 1946 studies at the Landeskunstschule in Hamburg with Alfred Mahlau, in 1952 he received the Hamburger Lichtwark scholarship, in 1965 the Edwin-Scharff-Prize of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg together with Paul Wunderlich, further awards including the 1968 Grand Prize of the XXXIV.
