Manufacturer: Ernst Teichert, Meissen (stamp mark), design: Hansfritz Werner, 1894-1959 (scratched mark), earthenware, glazed in white and yellow, on an octagonal stepped base, fully plastic representation of putti with muff, decorated with star, moon and bird relief, pearl frieze , stand slightly damaged, partly with slight craquelure, beautiful shape in good overall condition, height approx. 32.5 cm, around 1920, Werner first studied at the Dresden School of Applied Arts and later at the Dresden Art Academy. He was a master student of Georg Wrba and worked in his master studio. In addition to his sculptures, he also made templates and models for the Meissner Porzellanmanufaktur.
