W 166, "Four children with a doll" sitting next to each other on a bench, in delicate tones, height ca. 14.5 cm, l ca. 24.5 cm, after 1948; Konrad Hentschel (1872 Cölln - 1907 Meissen), painter, designer and sculptor, studied at the Art Academy in Munich and Dresden, since 1889 in the manufactory, one of the leading Art Nouveau artists in Meissen, designed numerous tableware forms, his figurines culminated in a series of twelve playing children.
