Bronze, dark brown patina, "Little Duck", depiction of a duck reduced to a few curves and lines, sticking its head under the left wing, artist's monogram "L. CHA" scratched on the bottom, patina slightly rubbed, otherwise nice condition, L approx. 10 cm, studied at the Düsseldorf Academy with Hubert Netzer and Alexander Zschokke, known above all for his small-format animal sculptures, which Chateau himself called "finger flatterers".
