Oil/cardboard, "Moorlandschaft mit Weg", sun-drenched field path lined with trees, signed lower left, slight signs of age, framed (best.), approx. 52 x 62 cm, with frame approx. 63 x 76 cm, German painter and etcher 1889-93 at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with Eugen Dücker, Peter Janssen the Elder, Olof Jernberg and Paul Vorberg. Otto Modersen persuaded him to come to the new artists' colony in Worpswede time he created his typical North German landscape and moor paintings
