Oil/copper, foothills landscape with grazing cattle, verso with old label, handwritten artist’s note and inscription: “The evening of a sunny day”, magnificent stucco frame (best.), approx. 35 x 43 cm, with frame approx. 56 x 61 cm, artistic training at the academies in Liège, Düsseldorf and Paris, in Düsseldorf he belonged to the artist association "Malkasten" from 1881-85, he was awarded several prizes, including 1889 and 1900 at the Paris world exhibitions
