Mixed media on paper, landscape depiction, wide view of meadow overgrown with pine trees, signed and dated (19)09 lower right, framed behind glass, image section approx. 27 x 36 cm, with framing approx. 32 x 42 cm, apprenticeship as a textile pattern draftsman in Chemnitz , from 1904-08 studied at the Dresden School of Applied Arts, then from 1910-14 at the Dresden Art Academy with Eugen Bracht and Gotthardt Kuehl, 1944 studio fire and loss of parts of his work, mainly active as a landscape painter in Saxony, known as the "Painter of Lößnitz "
