Drypoint etching and aquatint, view over the Elbe to Dresden's old town, in the foreground paddle steamers, barges and a bathing establishment, signed in lead on the right under the print, framed behind glass, signs of age (among other things browned, min. stained, creased), leaf section approx. 30 x 27 cm, with frame approx. 33.5 x 30.5 cm, studied at the School of Applied Arts and the Art Academy in Dresden with Hugo Bürkner and Gotthard Kuehl, among others, stayed in Paris, Rome and Munich in 1897/98, worked in Dresden from 1902, Co-founder of the group "Die Elbier" with, among others, Ferdinand Dorsch, 1913-1937 professor for figure drawing at the Dresden School of Applied Arts, numerous works were destroyed in the bombing raid on Dresden on February 13, 1945
