A total of 10 woodcuts, illustrations for various plays by Shakespeare, including "King Richard the Third", "Othello", "Romeo and Juliet", "Macbeth", "Julius Caesar" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream", as well as 2 x title page of the portfolio Marked "Shakespeare Memorial 1664 1964", each marked and titled in lead, each signed in lead lower right, signs of age (including browned, edges creased), sheet up to approx. 45 x 31 cm, 1906-09 studies at the Dresden School of Applied Arts , then theater painter at the Dresden Court Theater, 1913-14 training at the Dresden Art Academy under E. Hegenbarth, 1917 continued his studies with Gussmann, 1918 graduated with the Grand State Prize, 1919 co-founder of the Dresden Secession together with Otto Dix, Lasar Segall, Conrad Felixmüller and others
