Oil/canvas, "La Bonne Aventure", opulent scene with a fortune teller reading the hand of a young shepherdess, various friends grouped around it, set in front of an ideal landscape with a waterfall, unsigned, this theme is known several times in Boucher's work, presumed origin in from the 1730s, high-quality new gold frame production, overall in very good condition after restoration, approx. 163 x 165 cm, with framing approx. 184 x 184 cm; Due to the condition before the restoration, it can be assumed that the painting was once part of a permanent installation in a wall paneling. This type of incorporation is known from French castles of the 18th century.
