Fat chalk, seated nude, signed and dated 1965 in lead below, framed behind glass in the passe-partout, image detail approx. 67.5 x 49 cm, with frame approx. 107 x 77 cm, graphic artist and sculptor, 1946 training as a sculptor with the sculptor Burkhard Ebe, 1947-50 apprenticeship as a sculptor with Herbert Volwahsen in Dresden, 1950 admission to the Association of Visual Artists in Germany, Naumann lived and worked as a freelance artist in the Loschwitzer Künstlerhaus from 1950, 1994 moved to Dittersbach into the "Künstlerhaus Hofmannsches Gut", with works in the Salomon R Represented in the Guggenheim Museum in New York, in the Galerie Neue Meister, in the Kupferstichkabinett and in the Skulpturensammlung in Dresden
