Woodcut, "The Model", self-print, signed in lead and dated 1971 below, framed in the passe-partout behind glass, sheet section approx. 48 x 32 cm, with framing approx. 66 x 48 cm, graphic artist and sculptor, 1946 training as a sculptor with the Sculptor Burkhard Ebe, 1947-50 apprenticeship as a sculptor with Herbert Volwahsen in Dresden, 1950 admission to the Association of Visual Artists in Germany, Naumann lived and worked as a freelance artist in the Loschwitzer Künstlerhaus from 1950, 1994 moved to Dittersbach to the "Künstlerhaus Hofmannsches Gut", with works in the Represented in the Salomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, in the Galerie Neue Meister, in the Kupferstichkabinett and in the Skulpturensammlung in Dresden
