Watercolour, mask, black mask with accentuated eyes set in front of an olive-green background, monogrammed lower left, selectively mounted on backing paper, there signed, dated (19)80 and titled, slightly creased, sheet approx. 50 x 37 cm, backing paper approx. 65 x 49 cm, in addition to working as a decorative painter, attended painting school with Willy Wittig and Gerhard Stengel from 1959-60, studied at the HfBK Dresden with Paul Michaelis from 1960-66, worked as a freelancer in Karl-Marx-Stadt/Chemnitz from 1966
