Pair of etchings on handmade paper, set on a double sheet, figural scenes, improvisations to music and time, signed below the depiction, dated (19)81 and limited 17/200, approx. 21 x 58 cm, gift of honor for the festive opening of the New Gewandhaus in Leipzig in 1981 , in a gray paper sleeve, this printed, limited and signed by the Gewandhauskapellmeister Kurt Masur, slight signs of age, 1957-62 studied at the HGB in Leipzig with Heinz Wagner and Hans Mayer-Foreyt, 1963 lectureship at the University of Leipzig and postgraduate course at the HGB in Leipzig, then worked as a freelance painter, graphic artist, sculptor and medalist, 1974-2004 lecturer at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, 1981 ibid.
