Brockhage with title, image approx. 48 x 34 cm, sheet approx. 53 x 39 cm, sculptor and designer, after military service and severe injuries, apprenticeship as a wood sculptor and turner from 1945, then studies from 1947-52 at the HbK Dresden, among others with Mart Stam and Marianne Brandt, with whom he was friends until their death, development of the rocking car (1957 and 1960 awards), 1952-55 work at the Institute for Applied Arts Berlin, then freelance in Schwarzenberg, 1967-77 lecturer at the HS Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, from 1968 first sculptural works in wood and concrete as well as several years of cooperation with the VEB Kunstgewerbewerkstätten Olbernhau, 1971 first exhibition in the Grassi Museum Leipzig (together with T.
