Brass with silver-plated front, half-length portrait of the queen mother Maria de Medici, she is richly dressed and has her hair done according to the French fashion of the time, next to the pearl jewelry she wears a visibly large cross, which is intended to underline her piety, the inscription in mirror form below the pearl circle lists her title : MARIA AVGVSTA GALLIAE ET NAVARAE REGINA, based on a medallion design by Guillaume Dupré (1576 -1643) from 1624, here with a fastening eyelet and a curved hook, D approx. 9.5 cm
