Oil/hardboard, Port of Hamburg with sailing ships, signed lower right, framed, approx. 21 x 25 cm, with frame approx. 26 x 32 cm, German landscape painter, active in Munich, preferred to paint impressionistic industrial landscapes, but also views of Hamburg. Works by the artist can be found in the administration building of the Hamburg-Amerika Line in New York. At the Paris World Exhibition in 1937 he won the Grand Gold Medal
