Manufacturer: Lorenz Hutschenreuther, art department, Selb, design by Max Hermann Fritz 1932, 2 greyhounds lying close together, beige naturalistic painting, approx. 11 x 27 cm, 1930s. In addition to his large-scale sculptural work, the sculptor and medalist Max Hermann Fritz (1873-1948) formed models for various porcelain manufacturers, including Meissen, Rosenthal, Fraureuth and Lichte. For the Hutschenreuther art department, Fritz delivered over 50 models with a clear preference for groups of animals.
