U 150, small "child sitting on a cushion", painted in colour, height approx. 12.5 cm, after 1934; Konrad Hentschel (1872 Cölln - 1907 Meissen), painter, designer and sculptor, studied at the art academies in Munich and Dresden, in the manufactory since 1889, one of the leading Art Nouveau artists in Meissen, designed numerous tableware shapes, his creations of figures culminated in a series of 12 playing children.
