W 118, standing "child, drinking from an onion pattern cup" with toy horse, painted in colors, restored, H approx. 16 cm, model from the design period around/after 1905; Konrad Hentschel (1872 Cölln - 1907 Meissen), painter, designer and sculptor, studied at the Art Academy in Munich and Dresden, since 1889 in the manufactory, one of the most important Art Nouveau artists in Meissen, designed numerous tableware forms, his figurines culminated in a series of 12 playing children.
