Oil/canvas, cold in the forest, signed lower right and dated (19)92, also described on the reverse, framed in a black bar with shadow gap, approx. 129 x 100 cm, with frame approx. 136 x 105 cm, 1968-71 training as a theater painter, 1973-78 studied at the Academy for Graphics and Book Art in Leipzig, master student of Bernhard Heisig, then worked as an assistant at the HGB Leipzig, 1985 moved to Berlin, member of the artists' association Neue Gruppe Munich, the German Artists' Association and the Saxon Academy of the Arts, awarded the Fred Thieler Prize for Painting in 1999 and the Gerhard-Altenbourg Prize in 2000
