Acrylic/wood, happy couple, plump couple in costume, the lady with Minnie Mouse ears, the gentleman with a Batman mask, cape and Superman tie, monogrammed lower left and dated 2014, framed, approx. 149 x 109 cm, with framing approx. 153 x 114 cm, 1973-78 studied at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, 1978-80 master student with Walter Womacka, since then freelance, 1981 founding of the artist group NEON REAL together with Clemens Gröszer and Rolf Biebl, with which they were active in the East Berlin art scene causing a stir, resident in Oderbruch from 1982, various commissioned works there until 1989, including mural Boulevard passers-by (1988) for the Große Scharrnstraße in Frankfurt/Oder, second home in Liguria/Italy from the 1990s, lively exhibition activity and numerous works for the public space, 1997 co-founder of the artist group kg 849, around 2000 beginning of the copying of Renaissance works, among others after Hieronymus Bosch and Rogier van der Weyden, subsequently various quotations e in his own panel paintings, increasingly social and consumption-critical pictures, currently mainly political mood pictures
