Manufacturer: EA Naether, Zeitz, beech, frame set on runners with adjustable seat and backrest, desk with foldable writing surface and box, shelf with inkwell holder, pen recess and bookend, the surfaces have subtle black line decor, signs of age and wear, approx. 90 x 86 x 66 cm, seat H up to approx. 58 cm, around 1900/10. Ernst Albert Naether is considered the founder of the German pram industry. His company "EA Naether" was founded in the 1850s and existed until it was expropriated and converted into "VEB Zekiwa" in 1946.
